Countries and regions

Swedish aid aims to help people in low-income countries. Aid activities can be carried out within a single country, as well as at the regional or global level. Government agencies report how much funding reaches different countries and regions. The countries and regions eligible to receive aid are listed by the OECD/DAC.

55.05% of the total aid was directed to aid activities in these countries, while 36.93% was allocated to poverty reduction at the global level.

16.21% of the total aid went to Ukraine, and 3.14% went to Palestine, State of.

Sida collects data in different formats and at different times. Sidas's own information is collected through the internal systems used by the agency in its daily work. The data then goes through a process before it is distributed.
