African Journals Online (AJOL) has applied to Sida for funding of 10 940 000 SEK to carry out its mission "to increase online access, visibility, quality and use of African-published, peer-reviewed research" during the period 2020-2024. AJOL is a portal which gives digital access to articles from, as of today, 526 scientific journals from 32 countries in Africa.
