This program has a regional approach with an HDP nexus approach and covers four countries in West Africa; Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger and Nigeria. The target group is primarily internally displaced persons, refugees and other people affected by humanitarian crises, as the geographical selection of areas for implementation are areas affected by humanitarian crises and where a large proportion of the population are internally displaced persons and refugees. Women, girls and young people are in focus.

Result
The programme is named Partnering for Resilience to Emergencies through Transformation of SRHR and aims to ensure that women and girls living in humanitarian and fragile settings in West Africa achieve their SRHR by leveraging sub-national and national gains for region-wide transformation. The projects three primary objectives are: Objective 1: Strengthen the capacity of the weakest health systems to deliver rights-based SRHR services that are resilient in the face of conflict and disaster in fragile settings Objective 2: Transform harmful social and gender norms that inhibit access to SRHR in fragile settings Objective 3: Strengthen regional accountability for ensuring SRHR for women and girls in humanitarian and fragile settings
