Humanitarian to Humanitarian (H2H Network) 2023-2024

Support to Humanitarian to Humanitarian (H2H network), a network gathering approximately 60 member organisations mostly with a niche focus contributing to humanitarian work globally. The impact H2H is aiming for is “more effective, accountable, and efficient humanitarian action for people in need”. H2H is both a network for the members to share knowledge and experience and a funding mechanism for the members. The member organisations are supporting the humanitarian system with technical expertise and service for a more effective humanitarian response. H2H’s members is doing so by providing support to other organisations working directly with affected populations. Thereby H2H members can respond to gaps in the humanitarian response where for example other organisations lack knowledge or expertise. Most of the H2H members have a specific thematic expertise and are hence a complement to Sida’s support to the large humanitarian organisations. Jointly the H2H network is aiming to impact the humanitarian system so that the response is more adapted to the needs of affected populations. H2H members can be categorised according to the type of services they provide: • Data, information management and analysis • Community engagement and accountability • Security, logistics, and programme support • Quality and sector professionalisation.
