AFI - Alliance for Financial Inclusion 2023-2026

Through the endorsement of the ten-point Denarau Action Plan (DAP) in 2016, the members of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI), which includes 87 institutions from 82 developing countries, clearly identified the advancement of women’s financial inclusion as a high priority. This collective global commitment was unprecedented. Under the DAP, AFI members develop and implement smart policies and regulations to create an enabling environment, that accelerates women’s financial inclusion across their jurisdictions. Together, members of AFI also develop and share vital policy knowledge which benefits their individual and collective efforts, also informs the work of a much broader ecosystem of partners and stakeholders.
