Project Title: Participatory Peacebuilding and Development in Somalia: The Role of Women and Youth. The Overall Objective of the project is to contribute to women and youth empowerment and inclusion as agents of peace in Somalia as a building-block for a more stable, resilient and accountable society. The Specific Objective of the project is: to create an enabling environment for strategically-selected women and youth – through improved self-efficacy, collaborative agenda setting efforts, and constructive engagement with key decision-makers and processes at the local and national levels – to influence peace, state-building and broader political processes at local, regional and national levels across south-central Somalia.
