This project aims to empower Environmental Civil Society Organizations (ECSOs) by providing them with specialized knowledge in various environmental sectors. It will deepen their understanding and enhance their practical skills to effectively address and influence environmental issues. The project will also bolster ECSOs' policy engagement abilities. They will be equipped with the skills to monitor and report on the implementation of policies, focusing on national laws and policies relevant to Kosovo's EU accession commitments, including the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans. This will further strengthen their networking and coalition-building capabilities. Additionally, the project will boost the project management skills of ECSOs through comprehensive internal and external training. This will support the practical application of their newly acquired knowledge, enabling them to take on more project management responsibilities with increased confidence and proficiency.

OBJECTIVE 1: Enhance the capacities of ECSOs by providing them with sectorspecific expertise, deepening their understanding of specific environmental sectors, and continuously improving their practical knowledge to proficiently identify and influence sectorspecific environmental issues. OBJECTIVE 2: Improve ECSOs' policy engagement capacity by equipping them with skills to monitor and report on policy implementation, with a specific focus on relevant national laws and policies, Kosovo's EU accession commitments, including the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans, while also enhancing their networking and coalitionbuilding capacities. OBJECTIVE 3: Enhance the project management skills of ECSOs through inhouse and external training, supporting practical application of the acquired knowledge to empower them assume more project management responsibilities with greater confidence and competence.
