A selection of the results reported by PDRC on behalf of themselves and their sub-grantees Acadamy for Peace and Development (APD) and Horn Center (HC) is listed below. The reports contain more results, but these are selected as a fairly comprehensive overview of the reported results.\n\nThe results presented do not follow the same logic as the objectives above, but rather the outcomes as they have been presented in the annual workplans. The outcomes were designed to be in line with the objectives.\n\n\nOutcome 1: Reduced Internal & Cross-border Tensions\n\nThe R2P consortium has facilitated peace dialogues, reconciliation conferences, and the formation of peace committees in conflict-prone areas. They highlight the following achievements:\n\nPuntland: The resolution of a conflict in Sherbi led to the safe return of displaced residents, while the establishment of buffer zones in Mudug helped curb inter-clan clashes.\n\nSomaliland: The Cross-Border Peace Committee was established to mediate disputes in Sool and Sanaag, contributing to a 39.44% reduction in conflicts.\n\nGalmudug: Mediation efforts in Laas-Xaadow prevented large-scale clan violence. \n\n\nOutcome 2: Civic Education on Good Governance\n\nThe programme facilitated civic engagement forums, voter education initiatives, and governance training sessions to enhance political participation. In Puntland, the program supported local council capacity-building, while in Somaliland and Galmudug, citizen engagement forums improved government accountability and service delivery awareness.\n\n\nOutcome 3: Strengthening Community Governance and Local Councils\n\nThe programme supported research and capacity-building for newly elected local councils in Puntland, enhancing their governance and financial management capabilities. In Somaliland, the program contributed to improved district planning through community-driven governance initiatives. Galmudug saw the successful integration of traditional and formal governance structures, which according to the partner has increased trust in local
